Development Report and Fall Plans

Greetings, friends!

We know that over the last four months we've been very sparse with our updates, and no patches have been released at all. We ran into some difficulties, and we're not looking for excuses - we just want to say thank you for your patience. This summer we took a pause to recharge - yes, developers are human too, and we needed that break to avoid burning out completely.

But the pause did us good. We're back at full strength and ready to show you the fruits of our work in the upcoming major patch.

What's coming in the next update:

  • New Arsenal: We're adding several new infantry firearms and completely rebalancing existing weapon stats. Critical issues with damage values, accuracy, weight, rate of fire, and other parameters have been identified and fixed.
  • Random Battles Mode: We're polishing the configuration options for armor and infantry units. Now you'll be able to create even crazier and more unpredictable scenarios.
  • New Streaming System: We've implemented an improved asset streaming system to save both RAM and video memory on your PC.
  • Refined Diplomacy in the Global Campaign: The AI now interacts not only with other factions but also with the player's faction-offering ceasefires, non‑aggression pacts, trade deals, and more.
  • Numerous Bug Fixes: Several long‑standing issues have been resolved as well.

And what about the future?
We're continuing work on our "big monster" - a new campaign in the spirit of M&B, where you'll step into the role of a PMC commander. It's truly a massive undertaking, and it won't be quick - but this is exactly the feature we want to make our "crown jewel," so we're not going to rush it.

And rest assured - we haven't forgotten that the Global Campaign and the Tactical Campaign are the very foundation of the game, and we have no intention of abandoning them halfway. Alongside the new mode, we're systematically polishing and completing the existing campaigns: fixing old bugs, finalizing storylines, balancing difficulty, and adding small but important improvements based on your feedback. These refinements will roll out gradually, including in the upcoming patches, so the "classic" experience will stay with you and only get better.

New Weapon Animations and Visual Effects: We've created brand‑new animations for all firearms, along with enhanced visual effects - muzzle flashes, impact sparks, shells, tracers, and more - to make every firefight feel more immersive, punchy, and visceral.

Stay tuned for more news. We're sorry for the long silence. We're back with you.
