What is this, you ask?
Well, that is a router cluster! You can now combine routers and create any kind of connected shape you want up to 16 routers and they work together as one. Need a 1 input 4 out splitter?
Just create line of 4 routers (or 2 also works if you use the sides) and have one belt in and 4 out and it splits the input to the 4 outputs.
Want to do 4x4 box? Go ahead. Need crazy L shaped router? No problem.
You can still configure each side with filters and priority as normal.
Routers and elevators can now also be built in air so you can create vertical buses and together with the clusters that should give a lot of freedom for all kinds of weird...I mean genius logistics designs. Also elevator bottom and top parts can be rotated individually so you can make 90 or 180 degree turns with them...and elevators can now directly connect to routers too.
Error Screen - When something goes wrong, the game pauses, keeps a snapshot of that moment as a report and suggests sending it before you save and reload. After a crash or a failed load, the main menu offers to review and send its report.
Report a Problem - Sends us a bug report or suggestion with your game log attached, plus your save if you tick it. Find it in the pause menu and on the main menu, with a list to open, send or delete past reports.
Update Notes - Loading a save made in an older version now shows a notification explaining what changed and what needs fixing in your factory.
Planter - Now draws water from open water inside its square. The water level drops as it does so you can't get permanently free moisture.
Invert Orbit Y - Flips the camera's up and down tilt while you hold the orbit button. Turn it on in Settings under Camera.
Router Side Feed - A Router side can now feed a belt passing alongside it. Switch it on per side in the Router's overlay.
Elevator Placement - Elevators now build in the air. Click where the intake goes, move the mouse along the column and click again where the outlet goes; Q and E fine-tune either click, and R and T turn the outlet to any side after the first click.
Router Clusters - Routers and Fluid Routers built side by side now act as one router with every outer face as a port. A mixed-tier cluster runs at its slowest member and shows a warning, and the inspector lists each router with an upgrade button.
Routers and Fluid Routers - Now build in the air, snapping onto raised belt and pipe lines, or lifted with Q and E before the lines exist.
Routers - Each side can now be set up before its belt is connected, and keeps its priority and filter when the belt is removed.
Elevators - Now connect straight to a Router placed against either end, with the router's priorities and filters applying to it like any belt.
Line Actions - Upgrade line and demolish line treat a router cluster as one router.
Routing Overlay - Each router side's controls now sit in one small panel with square toggles, and the filter count shows only when a filter is set.
Wiki - A new Routers page covers sides, clusters and building them in layers, linked from the Belts and Inserters tutorial step.
Item Picker - Closing it with its new close button keeps the selected building selected, and its search box takes focus as it opens.
Fixed copying a raised belt line leaving out its routers.
Fixed Booster slots holding more Flux Cores than intended, with extras moved to overflow storage.
Fixed jammed inserters and some stopped buildings showing no status icon in the world.
Fixed machines only slightly too hot showing the same stop icon as ones shut down by heat.
Fixed resource extractors (drills, excavators) taking a Flux Core.
Fixed lights not lighting ice and glass or anything behind them.
Fixed bright lights shining through nearby walls.
Fixed removing a belt from a router moving another side's priority or filter onto the wrong side.
Fixed inserters refusing to drop onto a moving belt that still had gaps between its items.
Fixed items on a stopped belt not closing up behind an item dropped ahead of them.
Fixed items dropped onto a belt from the side sometimes staying off centre.
Fixed belt items that were squeezed too close together staying that way after loading a save.
Fixed upgrading a belt tile holding two squeezed-in items jamming that tile.
Concrete - Now made from gravel, limestone and water, with gravel replacing stone. Stone already inside a Foundry moves to overflow storage.
Assembler MK 1 - No longer takes a Flux Core. Boosting an assembler now needs the MK 2.
