R48 brings new creatures, resources, equipment, decorations, and quality-of-life improvements, alongside a new way to clear grass from your plots and the next step in our ongoing UI revamp.
Items sent to the Redeeming Queue when a plot expires will no longer be locked to their original home valley.
You’ll be able to reclaim them from any home valley and any Province within the same world, making it much easier to return and resettle elsewhere.
Lyonesse remains an exception, and its current rules will not change:
Items from an expired plot in Lyonesse can only be reclaimed within the same valley as the expired plot.
Items from an expired plot outside Lyonesse cannot be reclaimed from within Lyonesse.
Market items: Items returned to the Redeeming Queue when you manually cancel a Market sale will also remain locked to their current zone.
This change applies specifically to items recovered when a plot expires, not if you release it manually. The main goal is to give active and returning players more freedom to resettle anywhere in the world, without turning the Redeeming Queue into a transportation system.
A new creature, the Radiant Hart, can now be found in the Wildlands and Lyonesse, in the Whispering Woods and the Forsaken Forest.Unlike other deer, the Radiant Hart will stand its ground and fight back rather than flee when threatened.Radiant Harts drop a new resource: Radiant Hart Antlers, one of the key materials required to craft several of the new items introduced in R48.
The Blessed Sevenfold flower can now be found in the Wildlands and Lyonesse, in the Whispering Woods and the Pale. Blessed Sevenfold is used in many of the new recipes introduced in R48.
Several new items have been added:
Shepherd's Hushed Canopy — a new Shepherd Hat available from Tier 2 to Tier 4. It comes with a new Pacify spell with a short cooldown and a Spirit cost.
Ancient Sylvan Staff — a new Sylvan Staff available from Tier 2 to Tier 4. It comes with Regrowth and two new spells: Reaping Bloom and Seeding Grove.
Ward of Demira — a new Dreamcatcher decoration.
Trophy of the Radiant Hart and Chandelier of the Radiant Hart — two new decorations crafted from Radiant Hart materials.
We’ve also added something that has been in our backlog for a while: a new building piece designed to remove most of the grass from an area.Cleared Ground comes in two sizes, Standard and Large, and is free to place. There are a few limitations to keep in mind:
Cleared Ground removes grass, but not bushes or small trees.
Some flower patches are technically classified as bushes and will therefore remain unaffected.
Due to technical limitations, grass removal is only partial on slopes.
Our progressive UI revamp continues with a refreshed Settings menu, revamped 'Claim a Plot' menus, and a quality-of-life improvement for consumable buffs. You can now consume food or potions again when their remaining buff duration reaches 30% or less. Doing so refreshes the buff timer. Both the buff icon and the corresponding item in your inventory have a green border when the buff can be refreshed.Consumed food effects displayed in the HUD now also have a mouseover tooltip showing their effects and remaining duration.
Beneficial effects from players outside a Duel — including heals, shields, buffs, and cleanses — no longer affect the duelists, keeping Duels self-contained.
70 in-game Achievements are now available as Steam Achievements.
Xbox / Microsoft Store players can now purchase Tokens directly from the in-game shop.
Improved locomotion on player-made buildings.
Dungeon names and their related Achievements are now localized.
