Inventory 2.0: Deep Pockets!

Get ready for a massive inventory shake-up in Active Matter! The next update introduces a brand-new pouch system - more pouch options, new dedicated pockets within each pouch, and expanded inventory capacity from pouches across the board!

Pouches have been rebuilt from the ground up. They’re no longer a simple add-on to your existing inventory - they are now your "base" inventory, where backpacks are now your inventory expansion for big hauls, meaning you’ll need to bring at least pouches if you want to store extra kit.

The pouch lineup is expanding - and each pouch now offers a combination of extra pocket "types", alongside traditional inventory space: grenade pockets for grenades and other throwables; medical pockets that accept only medkits, injectors, and painkillers; magazine pockets for spare mags to not consume the pouch’s main inventory space; and universal pockets that can hold any of the above, plus ammo boxes and other small equipment.

Remember: if you swap pouches - say, you take one off a downed opponent - your items stay in your old pouch, and the new pouch will carry whatever that enemy had inside, across both its inventory space and pockets.

What about rental gear? We’ve already notified the Agency, and it’s rolling out pouches with all approved equipment loadouts, so risk-averse Operatives won’t lose the ability to collect loot.

Operatives will also be able to gain additional pockets based on their Body Sleeve, boosting the maximum number of bonus pockets to five. These on-body pockets follow the same slot-type rules as pouch slots.

Ready for the changes ahead? Follow our social media channels and keep an eye on the official website so you don’t miss the update’s drop!
