How can we earn Merits?
You can earn Merits from daily "Priority Raid" objectives and from Monolith Access Levels, but only while a Harmonization Cycle is active.
If I gain a Monolith Access Level between cycles, will I receive those Merits once the next Cycle starts?
No. To receive Merits from Monolith Access Levels, you must earn those levels during an active Harmonization Cycle.
What happens if I hit the Merit cap and then earn more from a new Monolith Access Level? Are they lost?
A single cap overflow is allowed; any further Merits beyond the cap will be lost.
Do I need to buy access to a previous Harmonization Cycle if I already earned all the rewards?
No. If you have any rewards from that Cycle, you were a participant and do not need to purchase access again.
Did Cycle 1 close five days early?
Yes, It ended a few days early because we reworked the system. However, we made sure that rewards from Cycle 1 will still remain obtainable for Merits, so no one missed anything.
What’s the benefit of wiping now?
You can repeat the Monolith progression and earn Merits for each Monolith Access Level again only by creating a new timeline.
Why do new Monolith unlocks say "information is classified" for their requirements if they’re part of Cycle 2?
We’ll update the text soon to explicitly mention the Harmonization Cycle so it’s clearer!
Some new Harmonization Cycle rewards are labeled "exclusive." Does that mean they’ll never be obtainable again, or will they eventually become available like past Cycle rewards?
They will never be obtainable again.
In the new Harmonization Cycle, are Global Progression rewards granted when you create a new personal timeline, while Cycle Offer rewards require Merits instead?
Yes. Global Progression rewards unlock when you pass through the Monolith door (create a new personal timeline), or you can wait and claim them later as the Cycle advances, just like Cycle 1. Cycle Offer rewards must be purchased with Merits after you unlock the Cycle.
Why does the "Top Employee of Cycle II" unique plaque have no Merit price? Do you have to wipe to earn it?
It’s granted to everyone upon entering the Cycle.
Previously, anyone who wiped in Cycle I after April 25th was not placed on the "timeline creators" list, but that name of this list now sounds like it should include everyone who wiped through the end of Cycle 1, since they all created new timelines. Can we clarify this?
Only those who created timelines during the active phase of the cycle will be included in the list; the texts will be adjusted. Only these players influenced the completion of the Harmonization progress bar.
Some players now need to pay to join Cycle 1 even if they wiped before. Why, and what determines who is considered already joined to a Cycle? Why must you be on the "timeline creators" list?
This shouldn’t happen; these players should contact Gaijin support. Everyone who created timelines and received rewards in the first Cycle before it became an inactive Cycle is automatically a participant.
The Harmonization Cycle area doesn’t mention that Crystallised Active Matter is needed to enter some old Cycles right now. Will this be made clearer?
When you open the Harmonization window, the list of cycles will open. On the cover of each Cycle, a price will be displayed in Crystallised Active Matter to join it and make it active.
Why can’t we earn Merits while Cycles are inactive? Will there always be a downtime between Cycles where no Merits can be obtained?
We plan to continue releasing updates so that there are no gaps between Cycles, or so these gaps are as short as possible.
