Hi everyone!

Here are the latest changes coming to DepthLoot!

New Content

Added Crystal Passage - a new sub-location in the Mines. Added more key-locked chests, giving keys more value throughout the dungeon.

Progression

Rebalanced the progression tree. High-level nodes are now easier to unlock. Added additional nodes with more difficult unlock requirements, giving players more long-term progression choices. Added the Desperate Strength II and Desperate Strength III skills to the Mercenary progression tree.

Enemies & Loot

Reduced the number of mobs in the Shaman Boss room. Rebalanced mob loot to improve the overall distribution of rewards.

Merchant

Added more items to the Merchant's inventory. Equipment is now distributed more evenly between armor types. You should no longer run into situations where the Merchant simply doesn't offer any armor.

Item Durability

Increased the base durability of all items. Added the Crude Repair Kit for the early game, so item durability shouldn't be as punishing during the first floors. Made several small adjustments to item parameters, including price, durability, and wear rate.

Dwarf Miner

Added a dedicated Pickaxe slot for the Dwarf Miner. You can place any pickaxe in this slot. The equipped pickaxe is used exclusively when mining ore.

Inventory & Stashes

Increased the Mercenary's starting backpack size. Increased the starting stash sizes for both characters.

And lots of bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements
