Russian (Русский) is now a fully supported game language, with 984 interface texts and 65 dynamic templates available offline.
Options now supports searching for and selecting Russian, Steam's russian language setting is recognized automatically, and a dedicated Cyrillic font fallback keeps the interface readable.
A Living Economy
Gold now moves through a complete stock-flow economy linking players, AI merchants, city markets, households, treasuries, project funds, the Hanseatic Guild, the Church and the Crown. Trade uses real buyer liquidity and marginal stock prices, while production consumes its required inputs and carries fractional progress forward.
All 18 cities now begin with a consistent population of 400, 16 homes and 8 workplaces. The game economy starts with exactly 17,640,018 Gold, and the new save schema preserves money supply, debt and institutional balances.
Every city has a permanent automated Mint owned exclusively by the Hanseatic Guild. AI debt is no longer erased; indebted merchants suspend investment and may sell property instead of receiving an artificial game over.
Property and Debt
House and workplace prices now match their Architect construction costs. Bid and confirmation screens show the exact amount with the live Gold icon and localized currency label.
AI owners decide whether to sell according to a 30-day operating reserve. When the player is in debt, the wealthiest eligible AI merchant may make a purchase offer no more than once every seven game days.
At -500,000 Gold, eligible workplaces and then houses may be sold automatically. Game Over now occurs at -1,000,000 Gold, and offer timing is preserved through save and load.
Interface and Sound
Manual Trade now remains in City ↔ Convoy mode when the player has no Ledger House in the current city. Warehouse exchange becomes available in the player's hometown or after a Ledger House is built, and the panel now displays the live city and convoy instead of example data.
Notifications, construction confirmations and status windows, house purchases, Game Over, and save/main-menu/quit dialogs now share a clearer wrought-iron and parchment style with gold primary and pale secondary actions. The News Bulletin remains visually distinct.
Opaque black pixels outside the Market Item frame have been removed, and the News Bulletin has been repositioned below the minimap in CityScene and beside the Kingdoms Mode banner in WorldScene.
Battle Theme by Wolfgang_ joins Battle Music by Alexandr Zhelanov. The soundtrack now advances from one track to the other and repeats the two-track sequence.
