Seasons Of Fortune
Seasons Of Fortune expands life across the Hanseatic League with dynamic weather, ship trading, refreshed cities, clearer management tools, and improvements requested by players.
Weather and City Life
- Switch between day, night, rain, and snow from the navigation wheel.
- Rain wets the ground and snow builds up over time. Weather follows game speed and pauses with the simulation.
- All 18 cities now feature refreshed modular medieval houses with road-facing entrances and richer materials.
- Markets across the League have received new barrels, sacks, carts, and other trading details.
Ship Market
- A new Market tab has been added to every Shipyard.
- List, withdraw, and purchase ships docked in the current city.
- AI merchants can buy and sell ships according to their budgets and fleet needs.
- Search, filter, sort, price controls, and persistent listings make fleet trading easier to manage.
Trade and Player Feedback
- Metal Goods and Wine prices have been rebalanced.
- Port arrivals now use a shorter trumpet and ship-bell sound, with an optional pause for scheduled routes.
- Spacebar speed can be configured from 0.1x to 10x, with 5x as the default.
- City Info now shows population, housing capacity, and available housing.
- Construction Gold is charged once at placement, and selling goods a city needs now improves local reputation.
Town Hall and Architect
- Town Hall treasury controls now support immediate deposits and withdrawals with clearer feedback and safe limits.
- Income and expense details have improved tooltips, including a separate School operating cost.
- House and School cards in the Architect panel have received layout and artwork fixes.
Guild Prosperity
- AI Aldermen begin responding to the League's most serious shortages after the opening days, moving to the next shortage as each one is resolved.
- When no shortage remains, the League announces its prosperity. This progress is preserved in saved games.
