During the Week 5 'Voice of YMIR' period, which ran from August 6 to August 13, we received an outpouring of passionate interest and affectionate feedback from our global Warriors. From fundamental Game systems to fierce PvP balance adjustments, our development team has thoroughly and with a heavy sense of responsibility reviewed all the discomforts you have experienced and the suggestions you have submitted.
This week as well, moving beyond mere acceptance or rejection of each item, I would like to candidly answer as the director on 'why these decisions were made and how we plan to prepare alternatives moving forward.'
Here are the results of our initial review regarding the top 5 topics of week 5.

Comment & Target Schedule
1st
Clan / Party
Combat Target/Area Symbol Marking (Target Marker) Addition
[Accepted/Scheduling] We will quickly prepare the introduction of character markers and floor area display features for intuitive leadership.
2nd
Class Change
Costume and Skin Transfer/Auto Switch
[Not Applied] To preserve the value of costumes and skins, transfer via class change is not possible. However, we will seek alternative solutions to help reasonable growth.
3rd
PvP
Blocking Teleport Escape (Invincible Recall) and Introducing Cooldown
[Reviewing Improvements] Instead of a complete ban, we will explore and review reasonable methods such as special area restrictions, teleport control skills, and cooldown assignments.
4th
Item
Common Field 'Old Silver Coin' Drop Addition
[Preparing Alternatives] We will expand silver sources through instance dungeon overhauls, while concurrently providing separate mail support for the Boot Camp server.
5th
System
Main Character-Alt Character Equipment Sharing (Soul Link) Introduction
[Not Applied] We have confirmed that this feature will not be introduced to preserve independent growth value and ensure NFT data stability.
1. Target Symbol Marking Feature for Combat Cooperation and Communication (1st Agenda Item)
This feedback requested the ability to leave marks on targets or areas for smooth ordering during party combat and PvP in a global environment.
Answer: We deeply sympathize with the fact that this feature is essential for Warriors to cooperate efficiently, even in a multilingual environment. By expanding the party mark feature currently implemented in part, we are working on a detailed design to display intuitive marks above the heads of allies and enemy characters, as well as area indicators on the ground. We will coordinate the schedule and complete development as quickly as possible.
2. Transferring Existing Costumes and Weapon Skins Upon Class Change (2nd Agenda Item)
Warriors requested that appearance items, which were acquired at great cost, be transferred or automatically converted to match the new class upon changing classes.
Answer: We empathize with the financial burden and discomfort experienced by our Warriors. However, the acquisition structure of costumes and appearance items for each class was originally designed under the premise of maintaining unique design intentions and preserving item value. Therefore, we have decided not to proceed with the direct, auto-transfers. Instead, we will further review practical alternative packages or benefits to alleviate unfairness and help your growth more reasonably.
3. Teleport Escape Block and Map Exit Prevention System (3rd Agenda Item)
This is a request to block users from fleeing using teleport without a cooldown when they are at a disadvantage during open Field PvP.
Answer: This is a very sensitive combat balance issue that has been continuously raised since the Korean server days. If Teleport is completely banned, even the minimum survival method for light users who are unilaterally hunted by high-power users could be threatened, so pros and cons are fiercely opposing each other. Therefore, we will carefully review the following compromise measures to reinforce the direction of enhancing the fun of combat. The details below are those measures, which will be finalized through simulation and analysis and announced in the future.
Disable the teleport feature in specific PvP-exclusive areas
Adding special control skill and strategic gimmicks to suppress teleport when entering combat
Applying scroll reuse wait time (Cooldown) to prevent reckless continuous escape
4. Proposal to Enable Obtaining 'Old Silver Coin' in Common Maps (4th Agenda Item)
Warriors suggested adding field drops due to heavy silver consumption from events, enhancement, and other activities, combined with a lack of sources to acquire it.
Answer: We are carefully reviewing the opinions of Warriors who have recently expressed concerns regarding a shortage of silver. However, this is not a simple depletion of currency, but part of an intentional reorganization process to restore the economic balance of silver and boost its value
Previously, Silver was a low-value currency that accumulated infinitely due to inflation caused by a lack of use relative to its acquisition amount. We wanted to offer practical benefits and enjoyment by holding events where key items could be obtained with silver, ensuring that the silver Warriors earned through hard work could be used meaningfully in the game.
Silver will continue to serve as a key currency with clear economic value moving forward. Therefore, rather than carelessly adding drops to common fields as suggested by Warriors and lowering the value of silver once again, we plan to provide appropriate and meaningful sources of acquisition that align with our design intent. As part of these efforts, we are preparing improvements to allow you to acquire 'Old Silver Coin' through an instance dungeon overhaul, so we hope Warriors will enjoy the new experience of managing currency on a larger, more balanced scale.
5. Main Character-Sub Character Link and Equipment Sharing (Soul Link) System (5th Agenda Item)
This was a proposal to introduce a system that temporarily shares the main character's equipment with a sub-character to prevent main-character lock-in and burnout.
Answer: We fully understand the intent of the proposal to help cycle the meta by allowing players to enjoy various classes without financial burden. However, Legend of YMIR is designed so that each character achieves fierce, independent growth and proves its value in its own right. In particular, in Legend of YMIR's unique NFT character and equipment system environment linked to the blockchain ecosystem, equipment duplication or temporary sharing could cause serious data errors and exceptional risks. For system stability and design direction, we have decided not to implement this suggestion, and we ask for Warriors' generous understanding.
Review of Enhancing Clan War (CvC) Declaration Requirement
We are fully aware of the ‘harassment’ issue where disposable burner clans or single-person clans are exploited to indiscriminately declare war and disrupt normal clan activity. To control such abuse and foster a healthy clan culture, we are strongly reviewing plans internally to strengthen system requirements so that a "Minimum Clan Growth Power" and "Active Member Count Condition" must be met when declaring clan war.
Finally, starting with the upcoming update on August 25 (Tue), Legend of YMIR's ‘Boot Camp Season 1’ will reach its grand graduation.
Throughout the intense 8-week journey of Boot Camp from June 30 to August 25, so many Warriors have safely reached Level 60 and are facing their glorious graduation. We extend our heartfelt congratulations and gratitude to the Warriors who have already met the graduation requirements.
In addition, for those Warriors who have not yet reached the graduation level, about 4 days of time still remain until graduation. We hope you will push through to the end to reach Level 60 and be sure to receive the special ‘Graduation Reward’ that can only be obtained in Boot Camp. For more detailed information regarding graduation and reward distribution, please refer to the separately announced 'Boot Camp Graduation Notice'.
Even if you don’t meet the graduation criteria on August 25, please do not be discouraged. Until the update maintenance on September 8 (Tue), when the Boot Camp server merges, you can reach Level 60 to server transfer to your desired server, so we sincerely cheer you on to do your best without giving up until the end.
Legend of YMIR is always completed through the voices of Warriors. We ask that you continue to generously send us your affectionate opinions through 'Voice of YMIR'.
Thank you.
Sincerely, Kim Sung-hee, Director of Legend of YMIR
