Valhalla Letter: Approaching Our First Anniversary, A Bountiful Autumn and a New

Greetings, warriors of Legend of YMIR. This is Executive Producer Seok Hoon.
It is hard to believe that nearly a year has passed since we took our first steps into the Land of YMIR and embarked on this great adventure together. After the fierce heat of summer, Korea now stands at the threshold of autumn, a season of bountiful harvest and fulfilling the fruits of our efforts.
Through the long months of changing seasons and countless updates, we would like to express our deepest gratitude for the unwavering love you have shown for Legend of YMIR and for the Warriors who have made this world shine so brilliantly.
In this, our 21st Letter, we will share the updates that will mark September, the season of harvest, along with a major roadmap for October and the end of the year that will bring a new wave of change to the battlefield.
1. A Bountiful Harvest and the Spirit of the East: [September Autumn Update]
Across cultures around the world, autumn is celebrated as the season of harvest and abundance. We hope your adventures are filled with equally bountiful rewards, and a new Costume is on its way to join you.
In addition, a unique and sacred Eastern presence inspired by the mythology of the East will make its way into the Land of YMIR, a world rooted in Norse mythology. ‘Azure Dragon,’ a divine guardian and sacred creature of the East who watches over the eastern realm, will join your adventures as a new Disir. Alongside it, the imposing ‘Eastern General and Martial Artist,’ imbued with the distinctive charm of the East, will also make its grand appearance in the Land of YMIR. We hope you look forward to this captivating fusion of two distinct worlds.
2. New Wings Across the Skies: [Mythic Air Companion]
A new Mythic-grade air companion will be added to satisfy your thirst for exploring the unknown. More than a mere companion, this new Mythic companion will take to the skies with an awe-inspiring presence. Join it on limitless adventures and journey to the farthest reaches of the Land of YMIR.
3. Let Your Skill Speak for Itself: [Region Colosseum Update (October)]
Set aside the power of your character’s existing gear and stats. The ‘Region Colosseum’ will finally open its doors, where every Warrior will compete on equal footing, and victory will be determined solely by their mastery of their class and their ability to control it.
The Arena will first launch with ‘Normal Matches’ in October, followed by ‘Ranked Matches’ in November, where the true champion will be decided. Hone your skills through fierce battles in Normal Matches this October, and set your sights on November, when you can rise to become a true ‘God of Battle.’
4. Shadow of the Battlefield Veiled in Secrecy: [New Class (October)]
This coming October, a new class will finally enter the fray, ready to completely transform the tide of battle across the land.
A shadow lurking in the darkness of the battlefield. Wherever it passes, only silent screams and fallen enemies remain in its wake. This deadly class, boasting unprecedented impact and an extreme level of control, is poised to unleash a fierce storm across the Land of YMIR. Prepare yourselves for its arrival.
5. Explosive Growth on Another Level: [Revamped Boot Camp Season 2 (October)]
With new battlefields and classes joining the fray, “Boot Camp” returns in a completely revamped form, offering Warriors a brand-new opportunity to take a great leap forward. Packed with an even more rewarding sense of progression and more substantial rewards, the revamped Boot Camp will deliver an exhilarating level of high-speed growth unlike anything you have experienced in Legend of YMIR before.
6. The Grand Finale of 2026: [The 3rd YMIR Cup]
The 3rd YMIR Cup is fast approaching, bringing together the dominant powers of existing servers who have grown even stronger through the fiercely contested Season of Competition, formidable new contenders entering the battlefield, and the legends who once stood at the pinnacle of glory, all to determine the true world champion.
As we approach this grand stage, we can already look forward to intense clashes of power between servers, along with an epic saga of alliances and rivalries forged in the struggle to survive. The detailed schedule and information for the final YMIR Cup of 2026, which will bring this year to a spectacular close, will be announced separately at a later date.
7. The Beginning of a Great Shift: [Large-Scale Server Transfers]
A large-scale Server Transfer will begin on September 29, setting the stage for a fierce new era of warfare. This transfer will be especially significant as the “rising stars” who completed Boot Camp Season 1 and underwent explosive growth will finally join the main-server battlefields in full force, creating major new variables that could reshape the balance of power across the land in ways beyond imagination.
8. New Rulers of a Great Kingdom: [Partners Server Auction Season 3]
It has already been six months since the Partners Server Auction Season 2, which made headlines last April. As the Season 2 operating period comes to an end on October 31, the “Partners Server Auction Season 3,” which will seek new rulers to lead their kingdoms from November 1, is coming this October!
Partners Servers are one of the core systems of Legend of YMIR, bringing Warriors together to build the strongest possible server as one united community.
The servers eligible for the Season 3 Auction will be finalized based on their activity levels and rankings from the previous season, while some Partners Servers will be merged into “General Servers.” *(Further details will be provided in a separate notice.)*
The Lords who claim the throne through this auction will officially begin operating their servers in November. To support the gathering of their forces, an additional special “Server Transfer” will be held during the second week of November.
We await the grand declaration of ambitious Valhalla Lords who are ready to step forward and write a new chapter in the history of the Land of YMIR.
Warriors, on October 28, Legend of YMIR will finally celebrate its first anniversary of official service.
The past year we have spent adventuring alongside you has been nothing short of miraculous for our development team as well. To share this incredible milestone with all of you, a special pre-registration event will be held throughout October, giving you the chance to experience all of the exciting first-anniversary updates we mentioned earlier, including the new class and Boot Camp Season 2.
To celebrate our first anniversary, we will prepare generous and extraordinary rewards that can only be obtained during this special period as pre-registration gifts. We hope you will be sure to participate and make these rewards a strong foundation for your continued growth.
