Closed Beta Arrives This Week
Greetings, players! The time is nigh… Closed Beta begins this Wednesday, July 15. Whether this is your first time in Arkheron or you’re coming back after a while, there’s a lot that’s changed since our Steam Next Fest Demo earlier this year, and we’re excited for you to experience it.
Feeling artistically inspired by Arkheron? Ready your pencils, your clay – or pop open MS Paint – and show us your Arkheron fan art by entering it into our first-ever Fan Art Competition. Submissions are open through July 22. See if you can compete with this World Cup-inspired beauty from Jacsad!

Patch 0.21
We’ll be sharing the full patch notes for 0.21, the update which this upcoming Closed Beta will run on. Be sure to check those out for balance changes, bugfixes, and more!
Wednesday, July 15
Tower Hour
We’re shifting Tower Hour this week to kick off Closed Beta! At 9AM PT, we’ll gather in the Arkheron Discord to discuss the goings-on in our amazing community and dive deeper into the new patch, plus chat more about what’s coming for Closed Beta – including the long-awaited Closed Beta Collection of in-game cosmetics!

Closed Beta Begins

While most of Closed Beta will feature Spires – Arkheron’s 3v3 Arena-style mode – as the main game mode, different regions will flip to Ascension mode during select hours on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday depending on the locale. Ascension is Arkheron’s all-out competitive mode where 15 teams of 3 battle their way to the top, while looting powerful Relics and exploring the mysterious Tower along the way.

Community Mini Challenge
We’re kicking off a Community Mini Challenge at 10 AM PT. The theme is: Dodges & Jukes! Build around your favorite movement items and show us the slickest, most creative juke you can pull off. Record it, and post it in our Discord or tag @PlayArkheron on X. Style points count, of course. Full ruleset here.

Community Tournament: Charon Cup #2
Hosted by ItanoCircus, Charon Cup #2 will be focused on competitive pre-made teams. Players will form their own squads and compete together in a more traditional team-based tournament format. Teams will be seeded by MMR with the goal of showcasing the strongest players at the peak of their powers!
