After yesterday's update, the fried eggs quest stopped registering as completed for some players, preventing them from continuing the story.
I'm sorry — I missed this critical bug before releasing the update. The fix is now available. Thank you to everyone who reported the problem and helped identify the cause.
Important for anyone who started a new game after the October 24 update: because of this bug, the opening quest may not have registered as completed, even if you had already eaten the fried eggs. If you saved the game in that state, the progression issue may have been carried into your save. The quest may remain incomplete after updating the game.
