RUBATO V1.3

Right now, I am pouring all my energy into the current update work. Ideally, I should be preparing for my move, but in reality, I am sitting at my laptop in a room surrounded by cardboard boxes, completely immersed in planning and programming. While the release date is not yet set, I am working hard on this almost every day, so I hope for your understanding.

I feel that I am currently facing the most challenging phase of development.

I’m working on an update that involves a comprehensive overhaul of the game and a major reconstruction of the final third of the story. It is a massive undertaking. While such overhauls are not uncommon for live-service games, doing this for a self-contained, single-player, narrative-driven game is unexpected and slightly insane.

Making this decision required me to engage in deep introspection and return to the fundamental reason why I create things in the first place.

To be honest, after releasing the game, I was thinking about quitting game development altogether. However, after this update, I feel like I’ve realised why I want to create something again. I’m really looking forward to what comes next. That thrilling sense of infinite possibility I felt during the early stages of development has returned.

It may take a little more time before I can share further updates.
