One of our goals with Car Rental Simulator is to make the rental lot feel like a place that's constantly alive. We want it to feel like a real business, where things keep moving even when you're busy with something else.
That's why customers now enter their rental cars and drive away on their own once the paperwork is done. And when their rental period comes to an end, they'll return to the lot, find an available parking space, and park the vehicle themselves before handing the keys back.
It may seem like a small detail, but it changes the atmosphere quite a bit. Watching customers come and go throughout the day makes the world feel more believable and adds a sense of activity around your business.
These are the kinds of details we love working on. They don't necessarily change the core gameplay, but they help Winston Springs feel like a place where people actually live, work, and travel.
