Building a proper rental business takes time, and when you first arrive at your lot, things are far from perfect.
Before you can afford major upgrades, you'll be working on a rough, sandy surface that has definitely seen better days. We wanted the starting lot to really reflect those humble beginnings, so we've been adding more details to make the ground feel properly worn, messy, and used.
Mud, wet soil, tire ruts, uneven patches, spilled fluids, and other little imperfections now break up the surface and give the whole area much more character. Instead of having one flat layer of dirt under your feet, we want it to feel like cars have actually been driving, parking, leaking, and working here for years.
These details also help us tell the story of your business through the environment itself. At the beginning, your rental lot is dirty, improvised, and a little rough around the edges. As you earn money and invest in upgrades, you'll eventually be able to leave all of this behind and turn the place into something much more professional.
Hopefully, looking at all that mud will give you one more reason to start making money!
