Hey all,
It's been about a month since the release of Episode 4. I really hope you all enjoyed it! In the meantime I've been checking the feedback, making small bug/typo fixes, updating the translations, and dealing with other stuff that generally follow a release.
Of course I've also started development on Episode 5. For now it's mostly setting up the episode's base outline, and starting with the first few scenes. I have a bunch of fun ideas in store for you guys this time around as well, so please look forward to it.
One thing I want to talk about now is the weekend scenes. As you know, every time you do a weekend activity you gain a star in said activity, and it follows that the next update to the weekend events would have the 5th (and final) star for most of the activities. It probably doesn't come as a surprise, but I've always wanted the 5th level to contain a lewd scene. While these may not be the largest lewd scenes, it still means a lot of work what with setting up (and animating!) 8 different lewd scenes. This is why the plan is as follows:
- The next update (episode 5) will not contain any new weekend events, but instead focuses entirely on the main story.
- After that I'll do an update specifically focused at finishing off the weekend scenes. So, something like an episode 5+ update, containing no new main story stuff.
Doing it like this allows me to focus on the main story right now, while also doing justice to the weekend scenes finales. I already have an idea for how to implement this properly, so it won't detract from the experience or anything.
Anyways, as for Episode 5, I won't be revealing a lot before the release (to nobody's surprise ^^), but you can look forward to seeing a lot more of a certain someone that was absent in episode 4.
