Hello Prospectors!
We’ve just released another update for Alaska Gold Fever! This one introduces a new feature requested by the community, a new side quest, and a number of fixes and optimizations to improve the overall experience.
Mine Reset & "Ka-Boom" Quest!
One of the biggest additions in this update is the new Mine Reset feature.
Once a mine has been heavily worked and more than 70% of its rocks have been mined, it becomes possible to reset it. The mine can be refilled with rocks, allowing the area to be mined again and giving previously completed mines a new purpose.
The respawned rocks also contain gold and other resources, so previously exhausted mines can once again become a source of income.
There’s an additional bonus too! Gold yield during filtering is slightly increased after a mine reset, making repeated mining more rewarding!!
Mine Reset is especially useful for players who have spent a lot of time in Alaska, fully developed their mining operations, or simply want to return to their favorite mines. It’s designed as a long-term feature that becomes more valuable the longer the game is played.

💥 Ka-Boom!
To start resetting mines quest, head to Reverend and ask about a new miner who has arrived in the area. You’ll find him near the shelter, surrounded by a rather suspicious amount of dynamite. 🧨🧨🧨
Talk to him and after a short quest he’ll happily "re-rock" your gold mine. And of course, there’s going to be plenty of “Ka-Boom!” along the way. ;)
🔧 More Fixes & Optimizations
Alongside the new content, this update also includes fixes for miner animations, a rare mine loading crash, and several optimizations to assets, resource usage, signs, furnaces, and other elements of the game.
