We’ve just released another hotfix for Alaska Gold Fever, bringing several improvements to Bandit behavior, survival, weapons, and overall performance. We’ve also fixed a few visual issues and made further optimizations to the mines and surrounding areas.
🛠️ Patch Notes - Version 2026.10.02.02
- Increased the range for full-frequency Bandit animation playback from 40m to 100m
- Increased the speed at which Bandits detect a player standing directly behind them
- Increased Bandit sight range from 30m to 50m
- Reduced the frequency of cold damage from every 5 in-game minutes to every 20 in-game minutes
- Increased weapon durability so they break less frequently
- Fixed floating pine trees
- Optimized mine walls
- Fixed LOD popping for trees and terrain above the town
