If you've played our demo (if not, check it out), you will have noticed that there's distant land that seems to be unreachable.
A foul smell emanates from green pools of a strange liquid. Strange creatures, touched by years of abuse from the Sapiens and nasty substances, watch you from afar. The swamp stares at you, tempting you to try its' grounds - Just not yet! This upcoming area, available with the full release of Rebel Roar, is the home of many beings; some friendly, and some not so much.
Biohazardous waste? Radioactive materials? Psychotropic substances? The swamp's got it all, and the effects of having exploited this land to the brink of inhabitability can be seen not only on the landscape around you, but also the creatures that have chosen (or have been forced) to remain there.
If you think Maulers and Slashers have gone through some rough times since the Sapien occupation, you have not heard of the Coldblooded. Despite their name, they are the most downtrodden set of Rebels that Animalek has spit out.
You've already read about Renard, a small frog that grew up, and learned to navigate the swamp's hostile environment by relying on the one thing the all swamp-dwellers have left: community.
These fighters rely on what they've learned to take advantage in battle: Expose your enemies to the toxins they themselves have created, regenerate limbs, and even call allies from the bottom of the barrel to defeat the Sapiens.
We hope you'll take the Coldblooded for a spin once you join the Rebellion. Who knows, if you've picked the Hacker class you might have interacted with one of them already.
