Patch Notes - Content Update 🍔
A meatier update this time! We've added some new recipes for players who want to keep cooking after the credits roll, alongside a batch of fixes and quality-of-life improvements you asked for. Thanks as always for the reports!
🍳 Content Update
Added two new grill recipes when the main storyline completes, for players who want to keep playing to have a bit more variety:
- Turkey Club Sandwich
- Bacon Cheeseburger
⚖️ Balance
- Binx (the cat) now eats 25% less.
🚧 Blocker
- Fixed an issue where you could start a shift while on a quest to prepare for shift, or to sign a contract, which could lead to unwanted behaviour (might require load of a previous objective if you're currently on it).
🔧 Bugfixes
- Fixed an issue where sound was missing for picking up dishes from the side dish holder and the ground.
- Music will no longer "duck" from customer barks.
- Fixed missing localization and text issues with the shift summary widget.
- Fixed an issue where Resources and money would reset on save/load.
- You can no longer sit customers at dirty tables after loading.
✨ Quality of Life
- Added options to toggle Motion Blur and Depth of Field.
- Entomophobia mode - roaches now have a pink trail, a flower splatter, and a cute sound when enabled, as we got multiple reports that the previous iteration was still gross.
- Borderless 1920x1080 is now default instead of Full Screen 1920x1080 - If you had issues with the game being broken after launch (not fully showing on screen, mouse input being off), when launching the game after update choose the option called: Play Road Diner: Reset user setting. If your maximum screen size is lower than this - it will set it to that. This should fix many of the issues related to not being able to start properly, input issues at start and other problems related to starting screen resolution.
