Toolbar customization and control order customization are now available for each panel.For example, in the Color Palette panel, you can create a toolbar layout similar to EDGE2.

You can now switch between the Color Wheel and the HSL Color Map.This can be changed from the right-click menu of the Color Wheel.The RGB Value Picker dialog can now also display either the Color Wheel or the HSL Color Map.
The picker shown when double-clicking a color in the Color Palette panel has been changed from the standard Windows picker to a custom picker.
This allows you to adjust colors in the picker dialog while checking the result on the canvas.
When using selection tools, formulas can now be used in the text boxes for the selection position, size, and angle shown in the option bar.Currently, this is supported only for the five text boxes related to the selection position, size, and angle.
Color palette import / export now supports the GIMP palette format (.gpl).When downloading color palettes from sites such as Lospec, please use the “GIMP GPL” format.

A new “Automatically switch layer” checkbox has been added to the option bar of the Eyedropper tool.When this feature is enabled, the layer from which the color was picked becomes the active layer.
A new “Scale” dialog has been added.
It can be opened from Image Menu > Scale.You can also change the width and height from the option bar, but this dialog is useful for operations such as quickly scaling an image to 5x.
The default value of “Clip Selection” has been changed from off to on.This helps prevent cases where drawing or fill operations appear to affect areas outside the selection when a selection exists.
When multiple layers are selected, the blue line indicating the active layer, which is the layer that will be drawn on with the pen, is now slightly thicker.
