Welcome back Pilots!

Today brings the first of two Quality of Life patches. This patch is arriving early so that we can fix a critical bug which has been causing the game to soft lock inside of campaign Refit Bays. Arriving early also means that we haven't finished adding quality of life features, so you can expect a second QoL patch to be coming within the next few weeks.

Starting Drop Zones

You can now choose your landing location for your first Dropship/VTOL wing. Tired of landing on top of the enemy forces? Bringing snipers to a brawl? Now you have the much needed option to drop further away!

Player Squad AI

We have fixed several issues with the player squad AI. You should now find them more responsive to your orders- including but not limited to actually following them. The Engage at Will command now correctly causes units to seek nearby targets. The player squad is no longer forced to strictly follow formation when given the Focus Target or Engage at Will order. This allows units to find more optimal engagement routes.

Void Spawning

This stubborn bug is still kicking. We have added a "Retry Mission" button in the escape menu which will reload the mission from scratch. I am very hopeful that this will at least allow most players to load in successfully the second time. However, we are aware that for some computers reloading the mission does not fix the issue. We are still working on finding a fix for this, and are considering the possibility that this may be an internal engine issue.
