Hello to every JelloPerson once again I'm here to bring you the news! Mr. Jello got into trouble again after the marketing episode.... After long conversations with friends, Mr Jello now have a very different vision of where he wants to the game with a major shift in focus, he is a pratically a solo dev for now but he says he will take care

New additions to the board

We want to transform and differentiate our board from other similar games, so the first step for that is random events. These events will also serve, for now, to help balance the game.

From the 2nd round and for negative ones after the 3rd round, random events can be triggered when using cards or landing on red and blue spaces. Among those, we have 8 voting events that can be either individual or collective.

And we also have events to randomly improve the current dice power, with higher chances for those who are behind in the game or have just died.

The beginning of the board also received a major overhaul on tutorial text to help new players understand the game mechanics.

Bug fixes and quality of life

  • Added click effects to the coffee penguin, mechanical trees, and the DJ penguin

  • Reduced the difficulty of the Lights bot for Requiem

  • Added the "WOLOLO" and "Klabotaucius" bots

  • Many text improvements overall

Current development priority

After thinking a lot over the ideas, we will have a major focus on improving the board and making our game more unique and functional. Minigames will stay in the oven since they are already delivering what's needed.

  • Expand the board

  • Improve the board game loop

  • Speed up the bots and prevent issues with them on the board

For you who read this far and don't know how to play the playtest, you just need to enter the Steam page and at the bottom there will be the option to redeem the open playtest of our game for free!
