Highlights: This round fixes two long-standing save-related problems. Dropped items on the ground used to pile up and never disappear after loading a save over and over—that's fixed: restored drops now expire just like they do in normal play, and their countdown freezes while you're offline, resuming from the time left when you return—friendlier for idle play. We've also fixed Spice, Mushroom, and Coconut showing up twice in your inventory, recipes using an extra Spice when cooked, and recipe tooltips wrongly showing a "Farmland Requirement".

Gameplay Improvements

  • Drops · Idle-friendly despawn timer: Uncollected items lying on the ground (from wild animals, chopping trees, gathering, and so on) now remember how much time they have left. The despawn countdown freezes while you're offline and resumes from the remaining time when you come back, instead of counting your time away against it.

Bug Fixes

  • Drops · No more pile-up after loading: Fixed dropped items multiplying on the ground and never despawning after loading a save repeatedly. Restored drops now disappear at their proper time, just like in normal play.
  • Inventory · Duplicate Spice and other foods: Fixed Spice, Mushroom, and Coconut appearing as two separate stacks in your inventory (one of them sometimes missing its icon). This also fixes some recipes using up an extra Spice when cooked.
  • Cooking · Recipe info display: Fixed recipe tooltips wrongly showing a "Farmland Requirement" (a crop-only stat). A recipe's tooltip now shows only what's relevant to it—stock, sell price, and effects.

It isn't gone for good — Valve returns it once the game has earned $1,000 . So that line means this little island crossed the line. And it settles the July books — which is to say, the first half-month after launch…
