Finally, it’s September 🍂 We hope you had a great summer and managed to survive the heat! Here’s a quick recap of ours.

June. We went to Lille to attend Game Camp, where we attended lots of really interesting talks on Cairn, The Witch's Bakery, and more. Special mention goes to Sebastien Deepnight Bernard’s talk, which covered procedural design and tabetop RPGs.

July. A short trip to Brittany to find inspiration and pick up some vintage postcards.

August. A quick stop in Montpellier to chat with other indie developers.

September. In Lyon, we presented Coastline Courier at the Lyon Game Dev association's monthly meetup. It was a chance to host a big playtest at the Patchwork Café and chat with other developers from Lyon.

Between train rides, we made progress on the feedback from the Indie Game Lyon expo. We’ve added animations and BRIOCHE the cat (which has four animations all on its own). We’re continuing to work on the game’s UX and our toolset: a quest editor in the form of a Godot plugin.

We'll tell you more very soon!

Community13 Jun 2026📬 Devlog 1. A Look Back at Indie Game Lyon 2026We were delighted to meet you all at Indie Game Lyon 7 , where we had a booth. It was a major milestone for us, as it marked our first public presentation of Coastline Courier! It was really cool to see you all playing our prototype. We saw players validate our game design assumptions and appreciate our concept. We suspected that sorting mail could be fun, and you confirmed it for us. 💜 Thank…
