We were delighted to meet you all at Indie Game Lyon 7, where we had a booth. It was a major milestone for us, as it marked our first public presentation of Coastline Courier! It was really cool to see you all playing our prototype. We saw players validate our game design assumptions and appreciate our concept. We suspected that sorting mail could be fun, and you confirmed it for us. 💜 Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, your feedbacks are very valuable to us, and we learned a lot by watching you play.

Some things will change

  1. Controls. We've started reassigning the controls. Yes: the scrollbar for changing stamps will be removed, 🙏 and yes: you'll be able to scroll on the scale.
  2. Desk. Several elements have been redesigned to improve readability (the scale, the left and right bins). The “reject” bin will be removed, and changes to the game design are coming.
  3. Feedback. We’ve understood you want more feedback from the system and to know how to improve your score. 😊 We’re thinking which information would be most useful to display and how to present it.
  4. Mental math ? The postage calculation feature has been a hit, and we have plenty of ideas to really get your brain sweating😇

Thanks to you all

Thanks to Quicktime event and Bettina Delaveaud for her work and for organizing the event !
Thanks to our neighboring booths lepoulet and gigilili devs of I can offer you Flowers and to the Sucre Discret team, the devs of Billion Citizen
Thanks to Deetz, to the Nerf de la game and to Une chambre à soi for our conversations.
We’re bound to have left someone out, but thank you all for your support and for coming to see us 💜
