CAAAHR! Has Been Announced

Hey everyone,

Some of you may know me as the guy who made Paddle Paddle Paddle and accidentally helped end a concerning number of friendships.

Well... I found my passion. And apparently that passion is making games where two friends have to work together under increasingly stressful circumstances.

For quite a while now, I've had this absolutely ridiculous idea stuck in my head: "What if one player had to drive a car using nothing but their voice?" The more I thought about it, the more I realized there was only one responsible thing to do.

Make the game.

So today, I'm incredibly excited to finally announce CAAAHR!

In CAAAHR!, one player uses their voice to accelerate the car. The louder they are, the faster it goes. Meanwhile, the second player has to steer through obstacle courses, dangerous tracks, jumps, and other questionable design decisions. Sometimes they'll have to use their voice too, triggering boosts, jumps, and special abilities at exactly the right moment.

The result is exactly as chaotic as it sounds. Communication helps. Screaming helps more.

And the best part? You'll be able to try it yourself very soon. CAAAHR! will be playable during the upcoming Steam Next Fest, where everyone can jump into the demo and experience the madness firsthand.

If this sounds like your kind of chaos, please consider wishlisting the game. It helps a ton, and you'll be notified when new updates arrive and when the demo goes live.

Thank you all for the incredible support you've shown me over the past year. Seeing so many people enjoy Paddle Paddle Paddle has been surreal, and I genuinely can't wait to see what happens when you start screaming at a car together.

Wish me luck. And maybe warn your neighbors.

Yours,
Mateo
