Hey everyone!

Today, we wanted to show you the cars you’ll be able to get your hands on in the Prologue.
When choosing vehicles for Car Rental Simulator, we don’t just look at their stats or try to fill the fleet with the most recognizable types of cars. We also want them to feel like they actually belong in Winston Springs and in a small, slightly run-down American rental business. That’s why the Prologue starts with a pretty mixed fleet.

One of the first cars is a large American sedan inspired by cars like the Ford Crown Victoria and Mercury Grand Marquis. It’s not flashy, but that’s exactly why it fits so well. Big, simple, durable sedans like this feel right at home in a small American town, and it’s easy to imagine one spending years as a fleet car before eventually ending up in a local rental company.

Then there’s our small hatchback, inspired by cars like the Volkswagen Golf Mk2. Compared to the sedan, it feels almost tiny, but that contrast is part of the fun. It’s cheap, practical and simple - exactly the kind of car that could stay on the road for decades and eventually find its way into a slightly unusual rental fleet.

And finally, there’s something with a bit more personality. Our classic muscle car takes inspiration from American coupes from the late 1960s, especially cars like the Pontiac Firebird and Chevrolet Camaro. Long hood, aggressive front end, and a shape that immediately feels American. It’s the kind of car that stands out on the lot and makes the fleet feel less like a collection of tools and more like a collection of cars with their own character. And that’s something we really want to keep throughout the game.

You’re not running a huge airport rental company full of brand-new SUVs. You’re starting a small business in Winston Springs with whatever cars you can get your hands on. Some are practical, some are old, some are a little strange, and some are there simply because they’re cool.
We think that makes building your fleet much more interesting, and hopefully makes every new car feel like a real addition to your business.

P.S. Don't forget to wishlist both Car Rental Simulator and Car Rental Simulator: Prologue - Early Days. Stay tuned for more updates!

Building a proper rental business takes time, and when you first arrive at your lot, things are far from perfect. Before you can afford major upgrades, you'll be working on a rough, sandy surface that has definitely seen better days. We wanted the starting lot to really reflect those humble beginnings, so we've been adding more details to make the ground feel properly worn, messy,…Community22 Aug 2026Starting Small: The First Washing SpotHey everyone! Every rental business has to start somewhere, and at the beginning of Car Rental Simulator, you won't have access to a fully equipped car wash just yet. Your first cleaning setup is much simpler. You'll be working with a small handheld pressure washer, which means you need to bring the car to a designated washing spot before getting to work. We wanted to make this area easy to rec…
