Rent Due 0.3.3
A fixes patch. Doorways, the ranch furniture, a crash on smaller graphics cards, and a calmer wrecking rate.
Fixes
- The game now runs on DirectX 11, which fixes a crash on lower-end and integrated cards.
- Doorways stop catching you. The player is a touch narrower, so trailer and house doors no longer need a sprint to get through. The Bare Minimum front door, the one that snagged every body on the way in, now walks straight through.
- Opening the upstairs bedroom door at the Big League Estate no longer switches off collision for the whole house.
- House names no longer pile up in the middle of the screen after you travel to a neighborhood.
- The camera ignores a sprint's sway too, not just a walk's, while still following a lean, a crouch and a jump.
- On a day with both rent due and an inspection at the same house, you can collect from the tenant at the door before you knock for the walkthrough.
White Horse Ranch
- Furniture across the ranch homes sits where it belongs again. Cabinets, lamps, fans and dressing that had drifted a metre from their walls are back in place.
- Carpets no longer sink through the floor in any ranch home, tiled bathrooms included.
- Hacienda Grande no longer offers a Garage set it does not have.
- Fence gates sound like gates, not wooden doors.
Balance
- Tenants wreck furniture about half as often, on the way out, during a party and day to day. A wrecked exit tops out at three rooms.
- The top bedroom set is a Children's Room instead of an Owner's Suite.
Keep the reports coming. Every one of these came from the bug button.
