UPDATE NOTICE: JUNE 02

Mecha BREAK · published 1 Jun 2026, 04:00 UTC

All newsPlayers around this dateRead on Steam

Attention Pilots:

Mecha BREAK will undergo scheduled maintenance starting June 2 at 12:00 (UTC+8). Login and gameplay will be unavailable during this period. Estimated downtime: 6 hours (subject to change—check official announcements for updates). Upon completion, all Pilots who log in within 14 days of maintenance will receive a routine maintenance package via mail (1,000 Mission Tokens, not counted toward seasonal accumulation).

To further improve the combat experience, we've optimized and fixed issues related to the General Store, Modular Weapons, Spectral Nexus, combat performance, and certain UI displays. Following the update, all Pilots will receive Supply Crate · Rhythm ×5 via mail.

Below are the main changes in this update:

System Optimization & Bug Fixes

Operation STORM

  • Fixed an issue where Mission Tokens were sometimes not properly awarded at Spectral Nexus end-of-run. After the update, Mission Tokens will drop normally at settlement, including Custom Striker and Matrix Contract bonuses.

Temporary bonus Corite Ore · Rhythm drops will be removed. Base Corite Ore · Rhythm drops are unaffected and will continue to drop based on the final floor cleared.

After the update, we will issue via mail two separate Mission Token compensations for Matrix Contract and Custom Striker bonuses that were not properly applied during Spectral Nexus runs.

    • Compensation Eligibility:

Pilots who held an active Matrix Contract and/or used a Custom Striker in Spectral Nexus with a valid settlement between the Season 4 launch and the June 2 update.

    • Compensation Rules:

Compensation is calculated based on total Mission Tokens earned through Spectral Nexus settlements between Season 4 launch and the June 2 update:

      • Matrix Contract compensation: 100% of total settled Mission Tokens.

      • Custom Striker compensation: 50% of total settled Mission Tokens.

  • Increased overall settlement rewards for Spectral Nexus Level 30–40.

  • Fixed an issue in Spectral Nexus where the Missile Support Chip Upgrade would damage your own Glider.

  • Fixed an issue where loading into boss levels could occasionally freeze in Spectral Nexus.

  • Fixed an issue in Spectral Nexus where the Gliders in boss levels could spawn in incorrect locations or disappear unexpectedly. After the update, boss level Glders will spawn directly on the ground.

  • Fixed an issue in Spectral Nexus where the end-of-run background screen displayed incorrectly.

  • Fixed an issue where the F3 Upgrade Details page in Spectral Nexus sometimes failed to display special buffs the Pilot had acquired.

  • Fixed an issue where Glider paint colors could display incorrectly in Spectral Nexus.

Store

  • Added Modular Weapon Upgrade Module II to General Store → Supply → Materials.

  • Fixed incorrect pricing on certain General Store items.

  • Items that were erroneously delisted during the season update will return to shelves after this patch.

  • Fixed an issue in the General Store where Supply Crate · Rhythm weekly refresh rules were not functioning correctly. Normal purchases will resume after this update.

  • Fixed an issue in the General Store where Office Access Card and Break Room Access Card could not be purchased under certain conditions.

  • Fixed an issue where the purchase confirmation screen for Pilot Cosmetic: Eyeliner displayed an incorrect price.

  • Improved certain text descriptions on the Matrix Contract interface.

  • Optimized purchase interaction logic in the General Store to reduce accidental purchases: removed the Space key shortcut for Corite purchases on PC; on controller, the default selection now defaults to the Mission Token purchase button, and the quick-buy shortcut has been removed.

  • Adjusted tab order for General Store and Corite Purchase pages.

Marketplace

  • Fixed an issue where PANTHER's seasonal weapon skin, Complex Shield · Rhythm, could not be listed on the Marketplace.

Modular Weapon Upgrades

  • Optimized Modular Weapon Upgrade interface logic, adding overflow protection and warnings when XP would be wasted.

  • Fixed an issue where Defense Field displayed incorrect Force Field Regen values after upgrading.

  • Fixed incorrect description text on Glider Packs.

Other

  • Adjusted sell rules for Pattern · Rhythm and Pattern · Trendsetter. After the update, these high-value patterns can still be discarded but can no longer be sold for Credits, preventing accidental loss.

  • Fixed an issue where Striker Design: ALPHARD MK-I Accent colors could not be modified in certain cases.

  • Fixed an issue where equipping the ALPHARD MK-I design without using its Pilot caused abnormal execution animations.

  • Fixed an issue where the ammo count displayed incorrectly when retrieving bullets from an Airdrop Beacon under certain conditions.

  • Fixed a missing season review cover image when viewing Season 3 data in Pilot Report → Season Recap.

  • Fixed abnormal matchmaking prompt text for Ace Arena duo queue.

  • Optimized loading screen visuals at 16:9 resolution.

  • Fixed an issue where Season 3 Operation VERGE Ranked Top 100 / Top 50 / Top 10 settlement Insignias were not distributed correctly.

    For eligible Pilots:

    • If you did not log in between the Season 4 update and June 2, 12:00 (UTC+8), your Insignia will be awarded normally after this patch.

    • If you did log in during that period, your Insignia will be delivered via mail after this patch.
