Hello, Chiefs!

Only 13 days remain until the Full Version of Police Chief Simulator launches! Today we're heading a little lower than usual - straight down to the station basement. That's where you'll find an important part of the station's infrastructure, one that's easy to overlook during expansion… until the lights go out.

As the station grows, so does its demand for electricity. At the heart of the system is the Transformer, responsible for maintaining the amount of electricity available to your station. The bigger and more developed your station becomes, the more important it will be to keep the transformer upgraded.

That's why expanding too quickly without taking care of your infrastructure can have consequences. If your station's demand exceeds the transformer's capabilities, you may find yourself dealing with a power outage. And running a police station without electricity isn't exactly the easiest way to start a shift.

Luckily, the transformer can be upgraded. You can obtain the necessary upgrades through deliveries and install them directly into the transformer, increasing the available power and preparing the station for further expansion.

You can also protect your station against power interruptions by installing a UPS. This system uses additional batteries to keep the station powered even when it gets disconnected from the main grid.

Once fully upgraded, the transformer is ready to handle the growing demands of your police station. It's one of those parts of the station you might not think about every day - until everything suddenly goes dark.

The Full Version of Police Chief Simulator is almost here. September 17, 2026 - that's when the full Winston Springs experience opens its doors to you.

See you in the next devlog!
