Version 4.8 Release Notes

ADDED

• New Cards: Added the last 10 new Relics of the Lost Ages cards.
• Multi-Pack Opening: You can now purchase and open up to 50 booster packs at a time!
• Booster Packs: Animated booster packs are available again for 0 gold 250 gems.
• Collection Book Filters: Added "Cosmetic Style", , "Rarity", "Card Set", and "Missing Copies" filters in a new popup UI next to the search box.
• New Player Experience: Added a dedicated New Player-only haven for the tutorial phase. New accounts are immediately granted 150 Gold.
• Ranked System Updates: Temporary Ranked card backs are now available based on either your current rank or last month's rank, whichever is higher. Diamond and Master card backs actively display your world rank number.
• Draft Mode Rework: Draft mode now requires selecting 60 cards, then manually refining the deck down to a 40-card limit before playing.
• Draft Rewards: Draft rewards have been increased to 40 Aether (4 per battle) on top of normal battle rewards.
• Draft AI: Draft can now be played against Mulligan.

UPDATED

• Cosmetic Economics: Reduced the cost of gold-purchased cosmetics and props (prices divided by 6).
• Login: Combined email and store login pages into a single cross-platform screen.

BALANCE CHANGES

• Adept Gunsmith: Gained Ranged.
• Boneface Berserker: Attack reduced from 6 to 5. Mobilize changed from "Gain +0/+2" to "Gain +1/+2."
• Cooking the Books: Can now fetch Legendary spells.
• Corrupted Current: Buff to elementals changed from +1/+1 to +2/+1.
• Dark Omen Spy-Hawk: Defense increased from 5 to 6.
• Decoy Disarray: Discarded ability removed.
• Elemental Reign: Cost reduced from 5 to 4.
• Exit Strategist: Entrance ability changed to only trigger a friendly creature's* Last Word.
• Fading Mind of Yanesse: Life gain reduced from 4 to 3.
• Forsaken Existence: Ability changed: "Sacrifice a friendly Innate creature, then draw a card and Banish a random enemy Enchantment that costs less than the sacrificed creature."
• Guildsmith: Ability completely changed: "Entrance: Enhance all cards in your hand." No longer affects turn timers.
• Gunhaunt: Activate ability now also costs 1 Life.
• Kularan War Paint: Duration of enemy attack nerf extended to "Marked enemy creatures gain -1/-0 until your next turn."
• Illusion Weaver: Discard ability changed: "Shift a random enemy Enchantment to their hand. It costs 1 less Mana."
• Lawbound Acolyte: Activate ability no longer removes Loophole.
• Lawless Firebrand: Attack increased from 3 to 4. Deathblow direct damage increased from 2 to 3.
• Lowly Lieutenant: Removed Doomed.
• Mercenary Mayhem: Enhance cost increased from 1 to 2.
• Merchant's Guard: Gained Acumen.
• Messenger Raven: Removed Innate Loophole. Now gains Loophole when Discarded.
• Nakoma, Order Informant: Cost reduced from 7 Mana to 5. Defense reduced from 10 to 6.
• Potion of the Weald: Now shuffles the top half (rounded up) of the cards from your Graveyard into your Deck.
• Reiteration: Can now copy Legendary spells.
• Retaliation: Effect changed to "Condition: the opponent casts an Innate spell. Banish all copies of that spell from the opponent's Deck. Banish cards from the top of the opponent's Deck equal to half its mana cost. End this Contract."
• Reverent Linebreaker: Attack increased from 2 to 3.
• Searing Scorcher: Now marks itself upon a Deathblow.
• Shattered Heart of Yanesse: Life loss reduced from 4 to 2.
• Spellbook Forgery: Removed Doomed.
• The Coronet of Yanesse: Life gain on activate reduced from 4 to 3.
• The Reconstructor: Stats changed from 2/2 to 3/3.
• Totem of Drakth: Changed to a Relic with 3 Sparks. Ability changed: "After you summon 2 Innate creatures in a turn, lose a spark, then draw a card and gain a Mana this turn."
• Toxic Dartshooter: Prepare ability to Shift to Reserves changed to be an Activate ability instead.
• Wandering Executioner: Enhance cost increased from 2 to 3.
• Worshiper of Drakth: Last word now shifts the top 4 creatures (up from 3).
• Worshiper of Kradam: Last word now shifts 4 random Innate cards (up from 3).
• Wounded Guardian: Health reduced from 6 to 5.

FIXED

• Exploit allowing players to bypass the 60-card deck limit indefinitely.
• Toxic Dartshooter incorrectly increasing the attack of 1-attack creatures when blocking.
• Discord poster now opens Meta Quest Discord app instead of the web browser.
