Hello Birders! Emu Island, the first DLC for Flock Around is available NOW!
We hope you all enjoy exploring the new biomes and encountering all the birds! 1.1.8 New Feature: Pins (Base Game)
There is a new cosmetic type: The Pin
Instead of buying pins, you unlock them by completing the Big/Giant/Enormous Year achievements as well as the Shiny Birds achievement.
If you already have these achievements in Goose Lake, you will already have some Pins.
A new batch of pins will be added for each new map (including Emu Island!)
Pins are NOT required for the "Dripped Out" achievement.
New Map: Emu Island
With the purchase of the new DLC you can now explore Emu Island and its 32 new birds and new points of interest across 3 new biomes!
Emu Island has a new Guidebook for you to complete. However your upgrades, items, and money will come with you.
Some birds (eg: Emus) do not fly, so instead of capturing them in flight for their "flying" pose, you instead capture them in a "running" pose.
Misc Changes
Main Menu looks nicer and shows a preview of Emu Island.
Reduced Warp Totem price to $300
Added new sound effects for Warp Totems, Shiny Bell
Added sound effects for failed item usage (eg: attempting to use a seed bag that is empty, using a whistle in a map that doesn't support it, etc.)
Changed all Secret Plan assets to Friend Shaped Games, including the Supporter Pack Hoodies.
Added new "Save Data" tab which has buttons to forget chunks of your save data.
Moved some settings buttons from "General" into "Save Data"
Fix: American Woodcock description is now properly translated in all languages
Fix: Capitalization tweaks on some bird names (namely Pied-billed Grebe)
Fix: Item thumbnails are no longer affected by Physics Interpolation.
