Hi everyone,
We just released a new demo update for Venus: The Last Ascent.
This update adds a first version of our key rebinding system and includes several fixes focused on save loading, HUB Machine stability, construction, and crashes reported by players.
New in this update:
Added a first version of the key rebinding system
This is an early version of the feature. We will continue improving it, adding more options, and expanding the system as development continues.
Fixes and improvements:
Fixed several save game loading issues that could result in a broken HUB Machine
Improved construction stability in cases where small physics movements could block 3D printing
Fixed some HUB Machine physics instability issues after loading a save
Fixed an issue where the HUB Machine could sometimes not be active or controllable after loading
Fixed some random crashes reported by players
Fixed other minor issues
Important note about save fixes:
Some save-related fixes may only fully apply when starting from a new save, or when building a new HUB Machine from scratch. If a previous save already contains a broken HUB Machine or corrupted construction state, this update may not be able to repair every issue automatically.
We’re continuing to improve the demo based on player feedback, bug reports, and suggestions. Venus: The Last Ascent is still early in development, so every report helps us make the experience smoother and more stable.
Thanks again to everyone who played the demo, wishlisted the game, and shared feedback with us. Breaking Walls
