Whether you're looking for a challenging Metroidvania experience or want to focus on exploration and story, you can tailor the game to your preferred playstyle.
Combat and movement are at the heart of Altered Alma, so we paid special attention to the feedback surrounding both systems.
We've refined Jack's movement to feel more responsive and consistent throughout the demo. The parry system has also received several adjustments, improving timing, feedback, and overall reliability to make successful parries feel more rewarding.
Another highly requested feature is now available.
You can fully customize your controls and rebind inputs to create a setup that feels comfortable for you. Whether you're playing with a controller or keyboard, you'll have more freedom to play your way.

These changes help key moments flow more naturally while giving Neo Barcelona and its characters even more personality.
Also we have Voice Acting on the intro! So you can have a Sneak Peak of whats comming for the rest of the game!
Exploration should always feel rewarding.
We've added new pickups throughout the demo and improved existing items to make their effects clearer and more impactful. You'll find more useful rewards while exploring the city and uncovering its secrets.
