SuperWEIRD Playtest · published · build 24598040
We have a new SuperWEIRD playtest update. It’s not a huge one this time — we mostly worked on the tutorial, visual improvements, and many small fixes across the game.
For anyone landing on this tiny space rock for the first time, SuperWEIRD is an automation roguelite about building strange production chains, commanding clumsy robots, experimenting with Tetris-like pieces of a broken planet, and fighting the Corruption called Goofy Goo.
The tutorial now has smoother beginning and a new entry comic. Here's some work in progress:

There is only one comic for now, but more strange little pages will appear later. We also added new victory and defeat screens, redesigned tooltips, buttons, and interaction bubbles, and added a toggle for disabling auto-attack.
There are many smaller changes hiding around the planet too. The finisher has a new look, objects can no longer be placed on top of roads, the typed splitter has been fixed, Mine Signs now assign types automatically, and every location has received its own custom boundaries.
We still really need your gameplay recordings. Please send us:
1) A full tutorial playthrough.
2) A recording of the entire run.
3) Any co-op bugs, crashes, or other strange behavior you encounter.
Commentary is especially useful, but a silent recording is also very helpful. Please show us where you get confused, what feels awkward, and exactly what happens before a co-op problem appears.
Links for sending videos:
1) If you have a google account.
2) If you don’t have a google account.
Please test the updated tutorial, play through the full run, try co-op with friends, and record everything weird.
Happy testing!
