If you suddenly opened Steam, found a mysterious new app in your library, and have absolutely no idea how you got here — everything is fine. This is the still-closed SuperWEIRD playtest.
And if you don’t remember signing up for it, that’s also fine. You probably did it a very, very, very long time ago. We’re really happy to finally invite you in.
For anyone who just drifted onto this tiny broken planet for the first time, SuperWEIRD is an automation roguelite where you build production chains, command clumsy robots, fight the Corruption called Goofy Goo, and rebuild a new planet piece by piece. You automate things, construct things, rescue what you can, put the world back together — and then do it all again, because roguelite.

This time we’d especially love you to get as far into the game as possible. We didn’t change the tutorial in this build, so there’s no need to record it again unless it’s simply easier for you to record the whole session from the beginning.
What we really need are videos from longer runs and co-op sessions.
We know co-op is still crashing for some players, and we haven’t caught every reason yet. Recordings of the moments where co-op breaks are extremely useful for us. So please invite some friends, jump in together, and make the game fall apart in interesting ways.

As for the game itself, this build has a new unique final boss. It is a hole. An actual boss-hole. It looks appropriately ridiculous.

We also added new notifications, reworked road behavior, and added new music for menu.
And a reminder: we also have a secret branch where we test the pre-release version of the game. If you want access, please fill out this form/table:

That version currently includes a third run and new final bosses on every level except the tutorial.
If you have access already, jump in. Bring friends. Go deep into the run. And if something explodes, crashes, freezes, or becomes wonderfully weird — please send us the video.
Happy testing!
