We've just pushed our latest update to the Steam beta branch. If you want to help us test the new content before it goes public, you can find instructions on how to opt into the beta branch here.

This update contains a number of fixes, improvements, and some new content. Some new small islands can now be found past the 30 unit mark in any direction. These contain new quests, items, and points of interest.Additionally, the selling price of some crafted items has been rebalanced. These now sell for more than the sum of their components, which makes crafting more profitable than it used to be.

  • The Nightbloom plant can now spawn on natural islands.

  • Fast traveling now passes the time based on the distance you've traveled.

  • Blacksmith merchants can now reroll your weapon and armor talents for a price.

  • The Cartographer NPC will now count crafting station items already placed on your ship as meeting the conditions for the New Craftsman quest.

  • Fixed some typos.

  • Fixed unable to inspect items from the equipment window.

  • Fixed longshot effect description showing duplicate effects, and not showing up as a buff icon.
