Every screen in the game has been rebuilt on one design system: one palette, two typefaces, one icon set. You pick the accent colour.
ONE SYSTEM, EVERY SCREEN
The game and the site finally look like the same product.
- ONE PALETTE:
a purple here, a cyan there, one per panel ⇒ one ink ladder and one accent, everywhere. - TWO TYPEFACES. Rajdhani for titles and numbers, Inter for text, sharp at any size.
- EVERY CORNER IS DRAWN by a shader instead of a stretched sprite.
- PICK YOUR ACCENT in Settings → Display: Lynium purple, magenta, violet, electric or orchid.
- ONE ICON SET, filled, plus nine glyphs drawn for this release.
THE HOME
- THE SERVER CARD IS LIVE: online, players, plays this week and beatmaps, with the week as a line.
- THE FEATURED CARD IS A SPOTLIGHT, with the cover as its head, Play beside download, and the day's three sets in a strip.
- THE TOP BAR reads in the display face and lights under the pointer.
- THE MUSIC BAR is dark glass: round transport, the Lynium triangle as the playhead, a heart and a volume track.

SONG SELECTION
The carousel is untouched. Everything around it is not.
- ONE PANEL:
two cards with two frosts meeting in a notch ⇒ the leaderboard and your record under one frost. - ROWS READ IN PP, IN SCORE OR IN BOTH. Click the numbers and the choice sticks.
- THE BEATMAP CARD IS BUILT AROUND THE CHART: difficulty, mapper, four tiles, note density and tags.
- WHAT THE CHART IS MADE OF:
"4 lanes", which the chip above already said ⇒ Rice, Jumpstream or Chordjack, classified for 3,986 of the 4,110 charts. - THE LIKE WORKS. Every click used to fire a like and its undo, which the server read as a dislike.
- THE FILTERS ARE PILLS with a glyph in front of the word.

THE BEATMAP BROWSER
- IT TAKES THE WHOLE SCREEN, with a left rail instead of floating cards.
- FOR YOU picks a set from your own scores, with one line on why and Another pick to walk the batch.
- YOUR LIBRARY says sets, charts, played, folder size and the last set added.
- THE ROWS have a fixed action column, so the cloud and the percentage never move the numbers.
- SHOW PP makes every chip say what a perfect run pays.
- THE PAGER is round arrows with the current page filled in the accent.

THE MODS WINDOW
- SPEED AND TARGET DIFFICULTY are the two levers on top, with ticks and a bubble while you drag.
- EASY AND HARDER ARE GONE. The target slider is the whole control now.
- NOTHING CYCLES ANY MORE:
one card you clicked through ⇒ No Miss, Perfect and SSS are three cards, Mirror and Random two. - THE COLOUR ALONE SAYS A CARD IS ON. The halo and the corner tick are gone.
- THE MULTIPLIER is in the header, Reset all in the footer.

SETTINGS
- THE WINDOW is a glass card with the search as a pill and close as a round icon button.
- THE RAIL puts a glowing bar behind the open tab.
- EVERY ROW CARRIES A GLYPH, and descriptions wrap instead of running under their control.
- THE DEAD BUTTONS ANSWER NOW. EDIT, WORKSHOP and RESTORE DEFAULTS had a colour tint with nothing to tint.
- ACCOUNT OPTIONS:
a page that posted through a channel dead for years ⇒ it opens your page on the site.

CHAT
- THE CARD is glass, with CHANNELS and DIRECT headings and unread pills in the accent.
- A MESSAGE ROW gets a face, the author in their rank colour, pill reactions and day separators.
- SEEN TODAY joins ONLINE NOW: everyone who wrote in the last day, and how long ago.
- #ANNOUNCEMENTS is a channel in the game now, with its Discord formatting and its reactions.
- AN INVITE TO THE DISCORD sits at the foot of the rail. Half that window comes from there.

THE PAUSE SCREEN
- THE ROWS carry a glyph and a wash of the accent on hover. Return is in the danger tone.
- THE BEATMAP CARD IS THE HERO, with this attempt drawn over the chart's note density.
- SHARE, OPEN ON THE SITE AND FAVOURITE are on the card.

THE RESULTS SCREEN
The grade is light now, not a badge.
- THE MEDAL is drawn by a shader: four fans, a spill and sparks, landing on a ring and a flash.
- IT ARRIVES IN ACTS, 9.3 seconds where it was 3.15.
- THE SCORE CAPTION IS A BUTTON. Click it and pp takes the big figure's place, next time too.
- THE CURVE RUNS ON THE SONG'S CLOCK:
note by note, so a break was invisible ⇒ a bead follows the music and a line says where the run fell. - THE SONG KEEPS PLAYING, and a click on the curve plays from that point.
- TWO WINGS: the cover, chart, mods and buttons on one side, accuracy, combo and notes on the other.
- THE VERDICT is chips: your personal best, your place on the board, and whether it made Top plays.
- SEE RESULT on a song selection row opens that run here, curve included.

THE SKIN EDITOR
- THE PANEL docks beside the playfield, with the skin's name and its status as a chip.
- THE THREE TABS are segments, and rows lost their guide lines.
- THE SONG'S TRANSPORT moved inside the window, above See shortcuts and Save.

THE BEATMAP EDITOR
- THE MENU BAR says which beatmap, at which difficulty, and whether anything is unsaved.
- THE MENUS:
columns of text with rows of dashes ⇒ every entry with its icon and its key. - VIEW carries a switch per layer, read when the menu opens.
- HELP is the fourth menu: the eleven shortcuts the editor really binds, keys drawn as keys.
- THE FIVE DIALOGS are on the system, with one accent button, the one that commits.

THE FIRST RUN
- ONE STAGE UNDER EVERY QUESTION, with six notes across the top that light as you answer.
- SIX QUESTIONS: language, playfield, difficulty, timing, view and a starter pack.
- IT ENDS ON YOUR FIRST SONG, in the playfield you picked, and nothing closes on a timer.
- THE ENTRANCE WELCOMES YOU BY NAME:
the name of the game, to somebody who had just opened it ⇒ your name, the time of day, and a load bar that moves.

BUGFIXES
- The frost behind a window reaches the overlays, so the music bar and the profile card no longer float sharp over a blurred world.
- The frost stops stamping depth over the card behind it, and blurs the same amount through any camera.
- Rows of segments answer the pointer. They had a hover colour and no way to reach it.
- The Replay on a leaderboard row can be pressed, and the card it opens points at the play.
- A finished download no longer makes the downloads card flicker.
- The library is told when the browser lands a set.
- The mapper's name on the intro card lost the colon in the way of it.
- A shape's glow stays inside the quad that draws it.

This is the biggest visual change Lynium has had. Tell us what reads better, what reads worse, and which accent you picked.
