Hello! This update is about the new characters and houses we have been adding to the main game. We have also replaced the store screenshots so they show how the game looks now.
You now start with five people by default, or choose any party size from one to five. There are twelve appearances across different ages and male and female designs, with distinct hair, builds and clothing. A random party will not contain the same appearance twice.
Here is the camp at the start of a game. The group takes a rest around the fire before getting on with gathering, hauling and building. You can assign work to the group or take control of one person and walk around the camp yourself.

We have added six small houses for the early settlement: timber, fieldstone and adobe walls, each with a plank-roof and a thatch-roof version. The first-house objective now accepts any completed house, so you no longer have to build a particular design to finish it.
Once you have picked a house and its orientation, materials need to reach the site. Settlers then clear and level the ground, prepare the foundations and put up the structure. The house below has timber walls and a thatched roof, one of the smaller early designs.

Twenty Chinese-inspired building designs have also been added to the construction menu. These include three-bay houses, L-shaped houses, three-sided courtyards and stilt houses, along with sheds, granaries and workshops. The menu shows pictures of the actual models, so you can see what you are choosing.

For this batch, the main additions are the buildings themselves and their construction process. Interior living, bed and sleeping support is still incomplete across the new designs. Granaries and workshops do not yet come with a complete production system. The existing houses with adjustable dimensions and materials are still available.
That is all for this update. We hid the HUD in these screenshots to give you a clearer look at the characters and buildings. If there is a house design you particularly like, let us know in the comments.
