Update 3.1.2 — The Living Economy

All newsPlayers around this dateRead on Steam

ECONOMY & TRADE
• World-market imports now cover your commodity shortfalls — up to 60% of any unmet demand, when partners will trade with you. Blockades, wars and sanctions still starve you, exactly as they should.
• Production grows with demand: private industry expands into profitable gaps alongside your ramps, with a yearly change indicator per commodity and trade totals at the top of the Resources screen.
• Every inflation driver now tells you what reverses it — and above 12%, a BREAKING THE SPIRAL advisory names your two biggest drivers with their counters, including a warning when your real interest rate is still negative.
• Foreign reserves explain their monthly movement, driver by driver.
• Tax and policy sliders gained +/− fine-step buttons and type-a-number fields.

WAR
• WAR HISTORY: every ended war is archived with its full cumulative bill — casualties, prisoners, every category of equipment lost, and the total cost. The in-war loss table now shows war-to-date totals beside the weekly numbers.
• Negotiated land deals read honestly: "Ceded X%" — never falsely as a full annexation. Small deals always visibly move the map, or say plainly when a transfer is economic-only.
• A signed peace enforces a six-month cooldown before war can be re-declared on the same nation, unless they're actively working against you.

GOVERNMENT & MORE
• Ministers acknowledge success and offer support in hard times — plus a REPLACE ALL cabinet option.
• Transport project capacity scales with your administration and economy.
• A more compact Organizations screen, fixed index-chart labels, and localization polish across all 13 languages.

Game update5 Sep 2026Update 3.2.2 — The Economy AnswersThe two screens you live in got the redesign they deserved. The Production screen is now a true economic dashboard — cost, prices, margin, supply coverage and import sources at a glance, with a preview of what your slider will do before you commit — and expanding production now costs the budget real money, so output is a fiscal decision. The HOME dashboard leads with the numbers that matter. Al…Game update5 Sep 2026Update 3.2.1 - The BrinkWars between great powers are now rare and momentous. No conflict can ignite without three announced months at the brink — a window the world (and you) can use to act — and nuclear powers genuinely deter each other: most great-power standoffs freeze into armed confrontation rather than erupting. Thanks yu_adw. Also: hover the Debt/GDP movement row to see exactly what moved your debt last month…Game update4 Sep 2026Update 3.2.0 - The Four-Sector EconomyTHE FOUR-SECTOR ECONOMY Every nation now has a visible economic composition — Primary, Secondary, Tertiary and Technology, always summing to 100%. See yours on the Economy overview with employment, wages and top industries per sector; compare any two nations on the world map; watch it transform over decades. Service economies now run real service exports (tourism, finance, digital, transport),…
