This update focuses on the issues that most often got in the way during everyday play in the previous Demo build: crowded information, distorted windowed layouts, overly dominant buttons, and screens that contained the right features but were difficult to scan.
The three-season Demo structure and existing save flow remain unchanged. The main changes are:
- A rebuilt visual language for the UI. Buttons, tabs, dropdowns, checkboxes, sliders, scrollbars, and tree controls now use a consistent bitmap-art set. Large flat color blocks have been reduced, while hover, pressed, and disabled states remain clear.
- A reorganized match screen. The central match feed is once again a full, readable vertical area. Touchline commands and match controls now share one action strip, while team stats, key players, recent events, and momentum information are no longer squeezed into one corner.
- Correct windowed scaling.1280×720, 1920×1080, and narrower windows now use the same design canvas with proportional scaling. The center panel, videos, portraits, and buttons are no longer stretched independently.
- A rebuilt Finances screen.Salary-cap information, income and expenses, and facility upgrades are grouped on the left. The right side is now a fixed full-height season jersey-sales table with a scrollable Top 50. Its frame no longer changes height when no sales data is available.
- A rebuilt Arena screen. All six additional facilities are visible together on the left, with uniformly sized and aligned build buttons. The right side is reserved for expansion, renovation, and building a new arena instead of hiding facility actions in a third tab.
- Clearer tactics and data screens.Tactics, coaching, markets, rosters, achievements, and other information-heavy screens received fixes for button width, text wrapping, scroll ranges, and unused lower-page space.
- Restored and unified popup framing.Popups now use the finished bitmap border and shadow, with excess transparent padding removed and a stable safe area for copy, controls, and artwork.
- A less intrusive floating mascot. The mascot now docks in the lower-right corner by default and can be dragged or closed. Its close button appears only on hover, and both its position and visibility are saved.
- New animated presentation. The main menu and key moments—including championship celebrations, regular-season awards, season transitions, and signing confirmations—now have new animated sequences.
We will keep refining the interface around real play sessions. If you encounter clipped buttons, unusual window proportions, excessive empty space, or information that is difficult to find, please include your resolution and a screenshot with your report.
Thank you for playing the *Chinese Basketball Manager* Demo.
