(still not 100% sure about that nickname honestly)
Considering the current demo is now out of date in terms of missing things we've improved or plan to change, we're taking it down on Monday (August 10th) as it's no longer a relevant representation of the game.
As mentioned though, we'll be releasing a new and improved demo sometime before Steam NextFest in October!
Thanks for playing the demo and supporting the game thus far!
In case you missed it, we posted some details of upcoming development in our last Kickstarter update so be sure to check that out in full.
Here's some rapid fire development roadmap details for you though:
Improve the physics/driving model.
Revisit the overall visuals. Already far along with this, with the cars looking especially better.
Improve existing weapons functionality and visuals, plus add the Assassin Missile
Add more art-dressed maps + prototype levels
Get the Level Editor and Workshop ready for their big spotlight (again, we're so pumped)
Add a garage - with paint and wheel customization as a start
Get multiplayer up and running
Polish the gameplay in general to be the best possible foundation to work off of
In that Kickstarter update we also posted a poll asking what players are most excited about from this list - of which they chose physics/driving model improvements.
Let us know in the comments!
Thanks for the support, and we hope you'll love what's coming with GRIP XR.
To keep your hands on the wheel and see the twisting track ahead, be sure to join the DISCORD and chat with other GRIP fanatics - plus get news about the game early!
