• Summon the dock over a maximized app without it flickering or resizing your window. Maximizing now snaps instantly, with no slow animation or blink.
• When a window covering the dock is minimized, the dock and your widgets come back on their own instead of staying hidden.
• Widgets stay between a video wallpaper and your apps, so they no longer vanish behind the wallpaper.
• Auto-hide taskbars close faster when you move the cursor away.
• The edge magnet is far less grabby. You can leave a small margin near an edge instead of the tile snapping flush, and holding Alt still places completely freely.
• In the widget editor, right-click a layer (or double-click it) for the full menu: Edit properties, Duplicate, Lock, Group, Arrange layer, Delete. A layer is now a real handle on the item, not just reordering.
• The welcome tour now follows the window when you maximize or resize it, instead of dimming the wrong area.
• "Apply a starter look" shows the taskbar even if you never turned it on, and the Starter preset now keeps a proper wallpaper thumbnail.
• Reloading DeskLayer's modules no longer freezes or comes back blank and slow on a busy multi-bar setup.
