Honestly the editor felt clunky to actually use, so this one is a fast quality-of-life pass. I moved controls where they belong, simplified the panels, added a few new toys, and fixed a batch of stability issues.
Editor: easier to read, less clutter
- Inspector regrouped. Quick controls (opacity, size) sit at the top, then one Appearance section (colour, border, gradient, shadow) and one Behavior section. Every toggle now has a plain-language hint.
- One Animation group holds Reveal in, Exit out, Hover, and Click, paired two per row.
- Edit text on the canvas. Double-click a text tile and type in place, or select characters to make just those bold, italic, underlined, or coloured (taskbar, widget, and on-screen).
- Layers moved to a Canva-style left flyout, and the hotkey picker is now click-and-press.
- "Hover text" is now Tooltip on hover. The Shape picker only shows where it does something, and the unused Pixel-art toggles are gone.
- Auto-fit bar width now lives with the app tiles, since it is about their "+N" overflow.
Widgets: one Add, and live data can be VISUAL
- Media, Text, Shape, and Live are merged into a single Add flyout.
- New: visual live meters. Bind CPU, Memory, or GPU to a bar, ring, or arc gauge instead of plain text, and pick the shape from a live preview.
- New (BETA): Gauge from a URL. Point it at any number in a JSON API (a percent, a price, a stat) and it drives a gauge.
- Live source cards now show a real sample ("18:52") instead of {tokens}.
Fixes and stability
- The taskbar no longer goes blank for about 15 seconds on startup or after switching templates. It comes up in a blink and the tiles appear together.
- Fixed the dock occasionally vanishing after a switch. It restores itself now, so there is no more toggling it off and on.
- Fixed the maximize-gap sometimes sticking after switching between presets, templates, or saved taskbars.
- Fixed a memory leak that made RAM slowly climb after repeatedly switching taskbars.
- Fixed intermittent freezes. Brightness reads and a tile paint-check were moved off the path that could momentarily hang the app, and a stuck tile recovers on its own.
- Self-heals the taskbar, tiles, widgets, and HTML wallpaper if they froze after the PC sat idle behind a maximized window.
- Editing a preset's taskbar opens the Designer directly, the widget Place sliders are back, and screen-edge clipping is smarter so tiles do not spill onto the wrong monitor.
Languages
- The editors are now localized across English, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (BR), Russian, and Chinese.
