This week, we look to the heavens as we learn more about the dragons and natural elements that rule the skies over The Lost Isle.
Long before the first settlers arrived, Mauroth's seeping powers acted like a beacon that declared, "power and treasures lie here". Dragons — creatures of ancient greed — followed that beacon to its source. They found the Isle's hoards of treasure first. They intend to keep it that way.
Dragons do not negotiate. Dragons do not forgive trespassers. And they have been here far longer than you.

These creatures see you for what you are: small, fragile, and standing between them and their treasure. They will attack on sight, pursue relentlessly, and breathe fire without warning. Your best route to survival? Distance, cover, or terrain they can't follow you into.
One more tip — maybe don't hide inside a wooden building.
The Lost Isle has never been kind to its visitors. The weather makes sure of it. Tropical storms, rolling fog, and skies that seem to have a grudge — the Isle's atmosphere is as unpredictable as everything else on it. Here are the five natural weather patterns you'll encounter:
Clear: The occasional cloud, a gentle breeze. Perfect weather for building, exploring, or forgetting how dangerous this place is.
Light Rain: A steady drizzle and the occasional crack of thunder. Nothing you can't handle — probably.
Foggy Thunderstorm: Visibility down. Lightning up. Torrential rain in every direction. This one's staying indoors weather.
Dusty Fog: Reduced visibility and grit in the air. As one survivor famously put it: "I don't like sand."
Thunderstorm: Full lightning. Constant. Relentless. If you enjoy the smell of scorched earth, this one's for you.
They were here first. They own the skies. But the Isle belongs to no one — and neither does the horizon.
