Dear Community,
Over the past few days, I've primarily focused on modifying the controls for the Hero, Auction House, Smithy, and Editor menus. This led me to an idea for implementing the visual customizations for equipment that you've requested.
The bottom menu has been completely redesigned. Buttons are now spaced further apart, labels are always visible, and the Editor's usability has been significantly improved. A color indicator now shows the dungeon's current state. Accordingly, there are now separate buttons for saving and validating/playing.
The frequent dialogs regarding changes in the Editor have also been revised. You'll now only be asked about unsaved changes if you've been actively working on the dungeon.
The artisan now has a new function for extracting models from legendary items. This process destroys the legendary item, but you'll always be able to equip its appearance to your hero.
Each visible inventory slot can now be selected and configured separately. You can choose between currently equipped gear, no gear, and already extracted legendary item models. In the future, there will also be opportunities to obtain new appearances through events or bundles.
Many ideas have already been suggested in the past, such as the chicken helmet with a rooster's comb.
Over the past few weeks, I've collected data and compiled statistics, and I now have a solid foundation for further improvements. As you all surely know, RNG sometimes just feels unfair... you play hundreds of adventures and still don't get a single legendary item! And other players run five or six adventures and get their first legendary drop.
For this reason, I've implemented a few mechanics that will make the loot experience feel much better and reward you for your grind. Exact details will remain internal for now—but I'm very interested in your feedback and experiences!
I'd love to hear your feedback and experiences! Have fun with the new game features!
