Hello, everyone! We’re Fluff & Chirp Studio (绒绒啾工作室), the team behind Kill Me Yesterday.

We’re so excited to finally introduce ourselves—the Steam store page for Kill Me Yesterday is now live!

Truth be told, we’re still finding our feet as a team. When we sat down to write this first message to you, we had no idea what to say without giving away just how nervous we were.

The idea for this game first came to us at a time when AI had yet to make much of an impact on our daily lives. Today, just as in our story, advances in AI and bioroids are becoming defining issues of our time.

But we could never quite keep pace with the world changing around us. We tore everything down and started over more times than we can count. In time, the self-doubt and loneliness woven into our work became a small flame, lighting the road ahead.

Kill Me Yesterday is a story of many lives, unfolding over many years and in countless small moments.

At its heart are the love and resentment that bind Tyren and his wife across time; the bond of mentorship and friendship between the bioroid known only as No. 17 and an obsessive scientist—a bond that transcends life and death; and the immeasurable regret that haunts a brilliant doctor and his father, a test subject.

In a world transformed by technology, yet fractured by it, memories can be fabricated and relived, time can be traversed and rewound, and even loved ones can be replicated and mass-produced.

Yet even as loneliness and death become poetry, what is most human and heartfelt in us endures.

“Form follows emotion” has always been the guiding principle behind our design.

The game is still in development, but we want to hear your honest impressions and feedback as early as we can. We hope you’ll join us as we learn and grow—through all the rough edges, growing pains, and imperfections along the way.

That’s why we’re planning to hold a public playtest sometime in September. You’ll be able to join for free right here on Steam and experience part of the game ahead of release.

We’ll share the exact dates and more details about what the playtest will include on social media and through our community announcements as soon as we can.

If Kill Me Yesterday sounds like your kind of game, please add it to your Wishlist and follow us on Steam! We’ll also be sharing more updates as development continues, so stay tuned!
