A small patch today! This adds a long-awaited UI nicety, adds a couple of new customizable dialogue lines, and fixes some bugs:

  • UI improvement: health bars, energy bars, experience bars, morale bars, and the icons within targeting reticles now appear on top of 3D objects and level geometry. (Some of Unity's limitations made this much, much harder to implement than it should have been.)
  • added Teach and Teach Response lines to the selection of dialogue lines customizable in the custom character creator.
  • fixed: in the custom character creator, upon reloading a previously saved custom character, proc gen dialogue could invisibly attach itself to the character and end up getting saved despite not appearing in the dialogue editor subwindow.
  • fixed: in Multiplayer Arena, the wins screen was not reflecting the current name of each team, only the team's default name.
  • fixed: animated morale bars weren't playing when using morale-boosting consumable items (like novels) in battle.
  • fixed: the deck viewer window wasn't appearing when summoned in battle or exploration scenes.
  • fixed: using Shift + Enter to add an -NL- special character in the dialogue editor was producing an invalid XML character, resulting in a fatal error when saving the map.

Together in Battle may not have Functionally Infinite Gacha Money behind it…Game update30 May 2026Version 1.1.11Just a small update here with a few new character traits and a couple of AI improvements! · AI improvement : fixed the code that was causing enemies to sometimes move multiple times before attacking or ending their turn, which often made enemy turns last longer than necessary. · AI improvement : on its highest setting, the AI now takes into account tags that let a character act again after a sk…Major update6 May 2026Happy Launch-iversary (and version 1.1.10)!Greetings, tactics fans! It may be hard to believe, but I launched Together in Battle to version 1.0 exactly one year ago today . To celebrate the game's one year anniversary outside of Early Access, I put together a little "laurels" trailer cramming together some of my favorite clips from reviews so far (these are obviously edited to keep it under 5 minutes--make sure to watch the full reviews…
