Demon Ark: Idle RPG · published · build 25695508

Update 1.2.4 is now available on Steam.
Knight and Chaos reworks, automatic equipment locking, and improvements to the early guide, UI, and account linking.
You can also read previous patch notes in-game: open Settings and select “Update Notes”.
• Improved the Knight line's area attacks.
• Increased Sweeping Slash splash damage. ATK ratios are now 35% for Rookie Knight and Junior Knight, 40% for Senior Knight, 45% for Knight Commander, 50% for Vanquisher, and 60% for Warlord.
• Sweeping Slash now also grants the user 25% action gauge at the start of each battle. This adds to other starting-gauge effects, such as Battlefield Hymn.
• Expanded the range of Slash and Whirlwind. The main target takes the existing damage, while every other enemy is attacked at 50% of the main target's damage coefficient.
• For Senior Knight and higher, Whirlwind's defense reduction is replaced with Vulnerable. Hit enemies take increased damage for 3 turns: 5% for Senior Knight and Knight Commander, 8% for Vanquisher, and 10% for Warlord.
• Vulnerable effects from the same skill family do not stack; only the strongest applies. Warlord Echo also gains the expanded range, with damage and Vulnerable strength scaled by the Echo multiplier.
• Summon Amplification now increases summon maximum HP by the same percentage as ATK and Magic.
• When a unit with Summon Amplification casts its summon skill again while its own innate summon is present, the Chimera evolves into Cerberus.
• Evolution multiplies the summon's HP, ATK, and Magic by 1.3 and action speed by 1.5, and grants 2 normal attacks. It also fully restores HP and adds 100% action gauge.
• Evolution lasts for 2 of the summon's own actions. It ends if either the summon or its summoner falls.
• Casting the summon skill again during evolution triggers Frenzy. It deals 220% of the summon's Magic if there is one enemy, or 100% to each enemy if there are several. This does not restore HP, add action gauge, or extend evolution.
• Summons created by Echo do not receive evolution or Frenzy.
• All summons now normally appear as Chimera and appear as Cerberus only while evolved.
• Fallen summons can no longer be revived by Priest skills or exploration recovery effects. The summoner must summon them again.
• Added Auto Lock Special/Echo Equipment and Auto Lock Crafted Equipment to Settings. Both are enabled by default.
• With special/Echo auto lock enabled, eligible equipment is locked when opened, regardless of option grade.
• With crafted-equipment auto lock enabled, crafted sealed equipment is locked when added to Storage. Existing sealed equipment that merges into the same stack is also locked.
• Locked equipment can now be enhanced, rerolled, engraved, and have options designated. Actions that consume the equipment, such as selling, dismantling, or using it as crafting material, remain blocked.
• Locked sealed equipment can also be opened. The resulting equipment retains its locked state.
• When crafting is blocked by locked materials, the message now says Materials Locked instead of Insufficient Materials.
• Reorganized the guide to introduce early features in order, including claiming mail, hiring units, and upgrading Dominion and the Summoning Circle.
• Adjusted the order so that players save their formation before starting battle and obtain materials through dismantling before rerolling options.
• Clarified button locations and requirements, and fixed clipped guide text in several languages.
• The Castle tab flashes when a guide reward is ready. Viewing the tab once stops the flashing; completing the next guide triggers a new notification.
• Fixed long option descriptions overlapping the remaining count or buttons in equipment opening results.
• Fixed clipped spirit capacity messages and some reward lists.
• Items in reward popups and battle results can now be tapped to view their details.
• Clarified consecutive-opening button labels, such as Keep and Open Next and Dismantle and Open Next.
• Fixed overlapping or clipped battle log entries and improved mouse-wheel scrolling in several PC popups.
• Standardized descriptions of the same effect in the Laboratory, spirit options, and elsewhere as Turn Delay.
• Fixed an issue on PC (Steam) where starting Google account linking failed without opening the browser.
• Fixed missing in-game notices for account linking results, login failures, mail claim failures, and similar events, and improved explanations of failures.
• Reduced excessive monthly-pass synchronization requests caused by repeatedly returning to the app or opening the mailbox.
Thank you.
